Gorilla's Rebranding
Strategy
Challenge
Gorilla used to have an unclear positioning and inconsistent messaging that confused the audience and undermined the marketing success. Gorilla’s messaging was ''Edge computing technology can help companies achieve digital transformations''. However, this message didn’t make Gorilla stand out, especially since many companies started to develop the same techniques.
On the other hand, we lacked continuous communication with our B2B clients. Therefore, convincing them that Gorilla is a trustworthy brand is challenging.
Solution
We first revamped the website content to make it solution-oriented. We
pinpointed the challenges that different industries have encountered
and the solutions to how our products help them overcome the hurdles. Such as Smart Transportation, Smart Government, Smart Campus, Smart Industrial, and Smart Retail solutions. Instead of giving the client vague product descriptions, we also provided successful use cases, showcasing how we help our clients put AI into practice. We further enhanced our client relationships through multiple physical events.
Smart City Expo
We kept enhancing our communication with existing clients and potential leads by attending international tradeshows with a new image. SmartCity Expo brings experts from all areas together to share ideas and solutions to create a better and more sustainable future for cities.
How to make all the departments reach a consensus on the displayed theme is one of the most challenging parts. I was responsible for coordinating with the technical and product team. We brainstormed on creative Gorilla solutions that bring out our services and high-end products. Meanwhile, I prepared all the visuals and copies for the booth and collaborated with the video production team to highlight the use cases we worked on with the government, the airport, and the train station.

Gorilla IPO Party
Maintaining strong and positive relationships with the investors can ensure the growth of the business, so we held a party to celebrate Gorilla’s IPO on the NASDAQ Exchange, inviting all shareholders and employees to join the feast.
I was responsible for planning the event, from designing visuals, generating activities ideas, and coordinating with the agency to ensure the campaign ran smoothly.
The result turned out well! All the stakeholders were satisfied with this event, and it was a great opportunity for Gorilla to gain investor trust and confidence through this event and our energetic and vibrant culture.
